"Bloodthirsty"

This was the final project for my Drawing II class. The assignment goal was to draw a portrait of yourself, a friend or a family member in an animalistic way. I decided on doing a self-portrait as a bat. To show these features, I emphasized on a very bloodthirsty gaze and pointed teeth. I also changed the length of the fingers and made the hands look webbed to make it appear less human. The bat wings, pointed nails and background to fit the aesthetic were the finishing touches.
